Jordan Webb
Jordan Webb is an accomplished performer, educator, and casting specialist whose career spans professional touring productions, international engagements, and extensive work within the marching arts. She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, grounding her work in strong pedagogical expertise and a deep understanding of how students learn.
Jordan is highly regarded for her teaching abilities, having mentored developing musicians across middle school, high school, collegiate, and drum corps settings. She has served as a mentor and guest speaker with the International Women’s Brass Conference, adjudicated for the National Trumpet Competition, and taught on the brass staff at Santa Clara Vanguard. Her background includes years of experience as a band director, corps director, visual caption head, and designer—roles that reflect her comprehensive approach to music education, ensemble leadership, and performer development.
In addition to her educational work, Jordan’s performance career includes credits in major touring productions such as Chicago the Musical, Blast!, and internationally acclaimed shows throughout Japan and Asia. She has performed as a trumpet player, conductor, actor-musician, and music manager, bringing an exceptional level of versatility to her craft. Her casting and directing work with organizations such as Major League Baseball / BD Entertainment, Six Flags, and cruise line entertainment companies further demonstrates her ability to guide performers toward excellence both onstage and in training environments.
Across all her roles, Jordan is known for her clarity of instruction, empathetic communication style, and ability to inspire confidence in young performers. She believes in cultivating disciplined, expressive musicians who understand both the technical and artistic demands of modern performance. At MDC, she brings her seasoned perspective, inclusive teaching philosophy, and unwavering dedication to helping students reach their highest potential.
