Ben Liebman is the Founder and Executive Director of March Drum Corps (MDC), a nonprofit organization focused on expanding access to high-quality music education and scholarship opportunities for marching band and drum corps students.

Ben is a brass educator and marching arts professional with firsthand experience at the highest levels of the activity. He marched with Bluecoats in 2017, The Cadets in 2016, and Spirit of Atlanta in 2014. These experiences strongly shaped his approach to teaching and mentorship, with an emphasis on accountability, musical excellence, and long-term student growth.

Through MDC, Ben oversees instructor onboarding, scholarship partnerships, curriculum development, and day-to-day operations. He works closely with educators, students, and partner organizations to help young performers navigate the educational and financial challenges of participating in the marching arts.

Ben is also pursuing academic studies in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. This background allows him to bring careful financial oversight and sustainable planning to MDC’s operations.

His work is driven by a belief that motivated students should not be limited by financial barriers and that access to strong instruction and mentorship can meaningfully change a student’s trajectory in the marching arts.
