Andrea Rovelli
Andrea Rovelli is an Italian trumpet performer, educator, composer, and music consultant with more than two decades of musical experience spanning drum corps, marching band, orchestral performance, and private instruction. Since beginning his trumpet studies in 2002, Andrea has performed throughout Europe and the United States while developing a passion for mentoring the next generation of brass musicians.
Andrea's drum corps experience includes performing with Spirit of Atlanta during the 2014 season before returning as the Lead Trumpet in 2015. He has continued his involvement in the marching arts as Brass Consultant for Arsenal Drum & Bugle Corps and as a Music Consultant for Ethereal Winds Independent, helping develop brass programs and guide performers toward higher levels of excellence.
As an educator, Andrea has extensive experience teaching students of all ages through private trumpet instruction, brass pedagogy, music theory, and ensemble coaching. He currently serves as a Trumpet Teacher at Vibe Music Academy and has worked with numerous ensembles as a music coordinator, visual coordinator, and consultant. His teaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, efficient practice habits, musical expression, and the discipline required to succeed in both marching arts and concert performance.
In addition to his teaching career, Andrea maintains an active performance schedule with orchestras, brass ensembles, jazz groups, and chamber ensembles throughout Europe. He has earned numerous awards in solo and ensemble competitions, and has been recognized for his work as a composer and arranger with award-winning film scores and published recordings.
Andrea is passionate about helping students prepare for drum corps auditions, improve their brass technique, and build the confidence necessary to perform at the highest level. His unique combination of world-class performance experience, instructional expertise, and firsthand knowledge of the drum corps activity makes him a valuable mentor for aspiring marching musicians at March Drum Corps.
